This book chronicles the two years between 2020-2022 in the company of the trees in Felbrigg wood in Norfolk.
After the death of her husband in the first weeks of the covid pandemic she began to process the devastation through drawing and close observation. With the careful editing by Julia Blackburn and the visualisation by Anne Belgrave this became a book, the title coming from a Civil War song.
